泰國反政府紅衫軍今天展開新一波大型遊行示威，一早抗議群眾在皇家田廣場（Sanam Luang）集會，不久展開遊行，台北時間12時30左右包圍總理府，施壓解散國會。
擁流亡前總理戴克辛（Thaksin Shinawatra）的「反獨裁民主聯合陣線」（United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship）號召民眾再次集會示威，警方估計約8000人參與。
示威群眾從集合地點出發，抵達總理府示威，但紅衫軍領袖表示不會衝入並佔領總理辦公的地點。
紅衫軍領袖賈卡波（Jakrapob Penkair）表示，紅衫軍至少會包圍總理府24小時，再決定解散或繼續集會，他們要讓群眾了解總理艾比希（Abhisit Vejjajiva）掌權過程不合法。
紅衫軍四大訴求，包括要求外交部長卡席特（Kasit Piromya）下台、對包圍機場的人民民主聯盟（People's Alliance for Democracy）採取法律行動、恢復1997年憲法、解散國會等。
紅衫軍另一領袖也是為泰黨（Puea Thai Party）議員賈都朋（Jatuporn Prompan）表示，他們不會衝入總理府院區，或損害任何財產，官員可以自由進出。他也強調，紅衫軍不會前往華欣（Hua Hin）。
不過，為了防範示威失序，泰國軍警在總理府內外部署，避免抗議群眾衝入。紅衫軍早上的示威活動平和。
原本在總理府召開的內閣會議，因為準備東南亞國家協會高峰會，移往峰會地點華欣舉辦。艾比希表示，他預計明天照常回到總理府工作。

Red-shirt protesters from across the country continued to flock into Sanam Luang to join the anti-government rally organised by the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) on Tuesday.
The security situation around Sanam Luang in the morning was stable, as traders started selling red foot-clappers and heart-clappers to the crowd.
Meanwhile, many companies of police and soldiers armed with shields were overseeing security in and around Government House, in preparation for the massive UDD protest later during the day.
Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban inspected Government House in the morning before travelling to Cha-am to join the weekly cabinet meeting.
The deputy premier expressed confidence that the police can manage the situation and prevent protesters from intruding into the state compound. He said authorities will not obstruct the UDD group from marching to Government House from Sanam Luang.
Prime Minister's Office Minister Sathit Wongnongtoey said he hoped violence would not occur after the demonstrators stated their views, and believed officials can return to work at Government House as usual after Tuesday's protest.
Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwan said violence should not occur during the protest since both sides are Thais and they should be able to talk with one another.
The army is ready to do anything to maintain peace in the country, and the army's role is to support the police, the minister said.
Gen Prawit added that enforcing the martial law would not be necessary at the moment, and he urged the UDD to rally under the framework of law.
UDD key member Jatuporn Prompan insisted the demonstrators will not break into Government House, adding that police can arrest the intruders immediately because they would not be members of the red-clad group.
